ST PAUL OBITUARY
St. Paul was born in Tarsus however was raised in Jerusalem. He was a Roman citizen and was the news of a Pharisee, in which he himself became when he reached adulthood. He witnessed and cooperated with the lapidation of the martyr, Stephen, while guarding the clothes of the witnesses.
The conversion of St. Paul began on the thoroughfare to Damascus. During the journey, he experienced a bright light which was the heap of saviour. The words that he heard were, Saul, Saul why revile me?He was then blinded and was carried to Damascus by his 2 travelling companions to Ananias. There, he was baptized and renamed Peter. His then regained his vision.
Paul went on three missionary journeys, every last(predicate) of which he preached ab break through Jesus teachings. On his first journey, he was accompanied by Barnabas and it stop when he had to return to Jerusalem for the Council. On his second journey, he travelled with Silas to Athens and Corinth where he preached at the Synagogue. His message was that all people, Jews and Gentiles were welcome in the Christian community. On his third journey, he revisited many of the communities he had founded or written to. One of them was at Esphesus, this was where he preached against the worshipping of false gods.



His preaching was putting the local traders out of business so Paul and his friend faced an hot under the collar(predicate) mob.
Paul wrote letters to the many different Christian communities that he established. Some of the letters he wrote had the following quotes: Brothers (and sisters), I press out you not to have factions among yourselves Bless your persecutors: never curse them, sign on them Be at peace among yourselves. Those quotes show that Paul believed in the value of friendship and forgiveness.
Paul was a committed and demon-ridden person. Throughout his feeling, he lived a holy and just life when he was a Pharisee as he saw it as a way to please God.
