Party Falls is a tubing city of about 300,000 people. Party Falls is located in southern California. Recently there has been a large addition in drug and alcohol habit among adolescents primarily in the elevated schools. We decided as an presidency that a curriculum was needed to be implemented to help the at peril population.
In the past few years there gull been reports of higher truancy rates, dropouts, poorer academics and testing scores, and other high happen behaviors. The problem first started in lower socio-economic areas of the city and has easily started to spread across Party Falls. Through the research that we be in possession of performed, we discovered a high addition in use of alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, K2, and bath salts. Reports project reached the national level of attention. Reports have indicated increase in crime such as, stealing, DWIs, violent fights, and possession of weapons. We have decided to address this problem by starting an organization called the Sober Squad.
The Sober Squad has a group of wit members that include an AODA counselor, a teacher from a local high school, law enforcement, a case worker, and a recovering user. These get on with members have different view and role in component part to advocate for sobriety in the high schools.



The meetings will be held every other week in a collection room at the citys courthouse. Our vision is that we set adolescents and their families on responsible and legal choices regarding alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Also, financial support and motivating adolescents to build healthy lives free from abuse and dependence in the community. We are going to achieve:
To educate and interpret info about chemical substance use, misuse, abuse and the effects, and consequences of chemical dependency. do adolescents make informed decisions about alcohol and drugs though preventions or information and referral initiatives.
